Within DA&S, the Infrastructure and Climate Advisory (ICA) practice supports public and private sector clients in planning, financing, delivering, and enhancing infrastructure and climate-relevant investments across infrastructure sectors and geographies.
International Development Assistance Services (IDAS) is KPMG firms’ dedicated practice focused on supporting development organizations in achieving institutional efficiency and programmatic impact across globally funded initiatives. The IDAS Institute is KPMG’s Global Center of Excellence that enables member firms to pursue and deliver MDB-, donor-, UN-, and nonprofit-funded international development engagements by leveraging global capabilities, knowledge assets, and coordinated delivery models.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Managing multiple engagements and independently lead engagements for clients such as government & public sector, not-for profits and corporate philanthropies, corporates, institutional investors, infrastructure developers related to the life cycle of Infrastructure projects (strategy, development, and performance) and international development engagements.
•Leading knowledge across sectors across infrastructure such as digital public infrastructure, transportation, social infrastructure, energy and utilities, building, construction and real estate.
•Synthesizing complex information from Multilateral Development Banks (MDB) project documents, program designs, procurement plans, and sector strategies into concise insights and recommendations.
•Translating policy and strategic direction into actionable operating model designs and implementation plans
•Developing business strategies, commercial frameworks, and transformation roadmaps for public sector agencies
•Conceptualize & develop reports on market assessments, feasibility studies, sector diagnostics, business cases, investment plans, and policy or institutional analysis.
•Support project pipeline development by tracking MDB and donor programs, procurement plans, and upcoming opportunities across priority sectors and geographies.
•Analyze operational processes to develop performance improvement plans, establish KPIs, and ensure alignment with business objectives
•Contribute to thought leadership, white papers, GTM assets and point of views to develop market intelligence and sector knowledge in infrastructure, climate, and international development themes.
•Structure and storyboard on tasks related to data gathering, mining, benchmarking, leading best practices, and analysis.
•Work closely with KPMG member firms across the globe, coordinating inputs, sharing knowledge, and supporting multi-country pursuits and engagements.
•Mentor and support junior team members on research, analysis, and project delivery
Educational qualifications
•MBAs or Masters in Economics, Urban Planning, Public Policy, International Development, Social Development and Engineering from a leading Indian/International educational institution
Work experience
•Minimum 4 years in strategy gained through strategic consulting, management consulting, corporate roles or government, development and public sector advisory or related fields.
