The NC Programmer will demonstrate leadership in manufacturing processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives for self & others and this will have the ability to affect short-term & some long-term business goals. Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line with understanding of a concepts, methods, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare CNC programs with (SQDC) Zero deviation in Safety and Quality.

co-ordinate with process & tooling team for timely availability of drawings, 3d models, MOP & tool list required for CNC program preparation.

Study drawings, 3d models, MOP, and component setups to identify machining requirements.

Identify drawing vs 3d model nonconformities and inform to engineering.

Essential skill requires for CATIA CAD/CAM

Optimize the tool path to achieve best cycle time on machine.

Verify the NC codes generated in Catia V5 in vericut simulation software and maintain record of important check points.

Technical and standard documentation for machine shop

Co-ordinate with machine operators for smooth machining process execution

Drive & support Improvement projects for Cost reduction.

Key Performance Indicators:

EHS and Lean

On Time Delivery

COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) control

New product qualification

Root cause analysis & Risk assessment

Machining strategy improvement and cycle time reduction

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in mechanical or production Engineering

2- 5 years core experience in CNC programming on CAD/CAM software with Fanuc & Siemens controller

Desired Qualifications:

Strong EHS & quality focus

Thorough understanding of Engineering Drawings and GD&T

Experience in Vericut simulation software

Experience in turbine & generator Rotor & Casing components

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in Heavy Machining of components

Depth Knowledge of machining processes and Tooling.
