<h6>Key Responsibilities</h6><h6>SAP BW Transformation &amp; Migration</h6><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Analyze SAP BW queries, InfoObjects, InfoProviders, and reporting logic for migration into Fabric and Power BI.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support SAP BW transformation activities, including mapping of source objects to Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, and semantic models.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Recreate SAP BW business logic, hierarchies, and calculated measures within Fabric and Power BI.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Document dependencies, transformation logic, and reporting assumptions for migrated assets.</p><h6>Fabric Development</h6><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric pipelines, notebooks, Dataflows Gen2, and Warehouse/Lakehouse solutions.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop reusable ETL and ELT patterns for SAP and non-SAP source systems.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Create scalable medallion architecture layers and optimize data processing performance.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support deployment, troubleshooting, and operationalization of Fabric workloads.</p><h6>Power BI Development</h6><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Rebuild Power BI semantic models, datasets, measures, hierarchies, and relationships based on migrated SAP BW logic.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop Power BI reports and dashboards to match legacy BW reporting outputs.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Implement DAX calculations, KPIs, drill-through functionality, and row-level security where required.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure report performance, usability, and governance standards are met.</p><h3>Data Validation &amp; Testing</h3><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform source-to-target validation for data, measures, calculations, and report outputs.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Validate row counts, aggregations, filters, and hierarchy mappings between SAP BW and Power BI reports.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support SIT, UAT, reconciliation, and defect resolution activities.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare technical documentation, test evidence, and migration sign-off materials.</p><h6>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</h6><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 7–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Development, or Power BI development roles.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hands-on experience with SAP BW queries, InfoObjects, InfoProviders, BEx reports, and SAP BW reporting concepts.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, and Dataflows Gen2.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficiency in Power BI semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query, and report development.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience with SQL, PySpark, ETL/ELT design, and data warehouse concepts.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of SAP BW extraction methods, hierarchies, and metadata mapping.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience performing data reconciliation, testing, and report validation during migration projects.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star schema, and medallion architecture.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or SQL Server is preferred.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to work effectively in offshore delivery teams and collaborate with onsite stakeholders.</p><h6>Preferred Qualifications</h6><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, or SAP Datasphere, Microsoft Fabric.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Exposure to Power BI deployment pipelines, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Power BI certifications.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience working in large-scale migration or transformation programs.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and security best practices.</p>
