Joining the India Data Office , this role will focus on Risk Management supporting the implementation of:

Identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of data risks and issues.
Effective project governance, tracking, escalation, and stakeholder reporting.
Development of KRIs, dashboards, and management insights to monitor risk exposure, control performance, remediation, and program health.

We are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven Analyst – Data Governance and Management to support data risk management, project governance, and management reporting across the India business.

Support the Data Steward in proactively identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating data risks across business processes, systems, and data assets, applying Enterprise Data Risk Management policies, standards, and procedures.
Identify, log, triage, manage, and report Data Concerns and incidents throughout their lifecycle, including root-cause analysis, remediation planning, escalation, and closure of audit and regulatory feedback.
Maintain effective governance and traceability across RAID items, Data Concerns, Issues (EIM), and Operational Risk Events (OREs), ensuring appropriate linkage, escalation, remediation tracking, and closure.
Support project planning and execution through milestone, dependency, risk, issue, and action tracking, providing timely stakeholder reporting and escalation to enable delivery of key objectives.
Develop and maintain KRIs, risk thresholds, dashboards, and management reporting to monitor risk exposure, control performance, remediation progress, program health, milestones, and emerging risks, while supporting opportunities for automated monitoring and reporting.
Partner with Business, Technology, Risk, Data Office, upstream data providers, and downstream users to resolve data issues, provide actionable risk insights, and strengthen data consistency, usability, governance, and risk management practices.

Qualifications:

Degree in a quantitative area (e.g. Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics and Engineering) is preferred.
Minimum 2 year of experience in data management, data governance, operational risk, or issue/incident management.

Strong understanding of data lifecycle principles, data quality concepts, lineage, and metadata.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate between various technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of credit risk strategy and/or payments industry is a plus
