Your Work Profile
Strong, in-depth Microsoft Active Directory expertise.
Architecture/design experience alongside hands-on engineering capability.
Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, alternatives and trade-offs, rather than simply implement a predefined solution.
Experience designing AD components including:
Domain Controllers and their placement
AD Sites and Services
Domains/forest architecture
Replication and availability
DNS and authentication dependencies
Groups/GPOs and associated AD fundamentals
Strong understanding of high-availability and resilient AD architecture.
Key Skills Required
Education B.E / B.Tech (Tier 1/2) or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
Atleast 6 years of relevant experience
Deploying/engineering Active Directory within AWS
AWS Managed Microsoft AD vs self-hosted AD patterns
Multi-region/AZ design considerations
DC placement and AD Sites and Services configuration in AWS
Connectivity, resilience and availability considerations
Supporting applications migrating into AWS that retain AD authentication dependencies
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Automation/engineering practices
