Experience: 4-6 Years
Location: Bengaluru
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CAE Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) analysis. The candidate should have hands-on experience in finite element modelling, structural dynamics, modal analysis, and vibration analysis using CAE tools.
The ideal candidate should have experience in automotive or mechanical engineering simulation projects and a good understanding of structural behaviour, vibration characteristics, and engineering fundamentals.
Roles and Responsibilities
•Perform CAE pre-processing, solver execution, and post-processing activities as per project requirements.
•Conduct Modal Analysis to evaluate natural frequencies and mode shapes of components and assemblies.
•Perform vibration and structural dynamics analysis to assess component performance.
•Work on NVH simulations to identify resonance issues and vibration-related concerns.
•Prepare finite element models using HyperMesh, equivalent pre-processing tools.
•Work with solvers such as OptiStruct, Nastran, depending on project requirements.
•Analyze simulation results and prepare technical reports with recommendations for design improvement.
•Collaborate with design, testing, and validation teams to correlate simulation results with physical test data.
•Ensure model quality, accuracy, and adherence to project-specific engineering standards.
Required Technical Skills
•4–6 years of relevant experience in CAE/FEA with a focus on NVH and structural dynamics.
•Hands-on experience in modal analysis, natural frequency evaluation, and mode shape interpretation.
•Good understanding of vibration fundamentals, structural dynamics, and resonance behaviour.
•Proficiency in HyperMesh for finite element modelling and pre-processing.
•Working experience with OptiStruct and/or Nastran solvers.
•Strong knowledge of meshing techniques, material properties, boundary conditions, connections, and model setup.
•Ability to interpret simulation results and prepare technical reports.
•Understanding of simulation quality checks and engineering validation processes.
