Job Summary

We are looking for skilled LS-DYNA Engineers with 3–6 years of experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), particularly in pre-processing using HyperMesh and solver activities using LS-DYNA.

The ideal candidate should have strong engineering fundamentals, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform simulation activities, interpret results, and recommend design improvements. Experience in seatbelt simulation and seatbelt product development will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Perform FEA simulation activities using HyperMesh for pre-processing and LS-DYNA as the solver.
Develop and prepare finite element models, including geometry cleanup, meshing, material assignment, connections, and boundary conditions.
Set up and execute LS-DYNA simulations based on project requirements.
Analyze simulation results and prepare detailed technical reports.
Interpret simulation and test results to identify potential issues and recommend design improvements.
Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of simulation models and project deliverables.
Apply strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills to solve complex simulation problems.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and support team activities to meet project milestones.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Follow established CAE processes, simulation standards, and quality requirements.
Explore new simulation methods and improve existing analysis processes.
Adapt to changing project requirements and work in shifts when required.

Required Technical Skills

Hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Proficiency in HyperMesh for pre-processing and finite element model preparation.
Practical experience using LS-DYNA for explicit dynamic simulations.
Good understanding of meshing techniques, material properties, contacts, connections, and boundary conditions.
Strong knowledge of engineering mechanics, material behaviour, and structural analysis fundamentals.
Ability to interpret simulation results and correlate them with physical test results where applicable.
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prepare technical documentation and simulation reports.

Preferred Skills

Experience in seatbelt simulation and seatbelt system development.
Knowledge of occupant safety, restraint systems, and crashworthiness analysis.
Experience in automotive safety or structural simulation projects.
Exposure to simulation validation and correlation with test data.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience Requirements

3–6 years of relevant experience in CAE, FEA, or automotive simulation.
Hands-on experience with both HyperMesh and LS-DYNA is required.
Experience working on automotive engineering projects is preferred.

Key Competencies

Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical ability.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ownership of deliverables and commitment to quality.
Ability to learn new methods and processes quickly.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements and shift schedules.

Joining Requirement

Immediate joiners are preferred.
Candidates serving notice periods should confirm their earliest possible joining date.
