Senior Specialist - Data Engineering

Administer and maintain Snowflake environments across development testing and production

Manage users roles privileges and rolebased access control RBAC

Manage warehouses databases schemas storage and other Snowflake objects

Monitor warehouse utilization query performance resource consumption and platform health

Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot Snowflake platform and queryrelated issues

Implement and maintain security governance auditing and accesscontrol standards

Support data loading integration migration backuprecovery and operational activities

Configure and manage resource monitors and support costoptimization activities

Work with data engineering cloud security and application teams to resolve platform issues

Lead productionsupport activities incident resolution upgrades and administrative automation

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members

Required Skills

Strong handson experience in Snowflake Administration

Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture virtual warehouses databases schemas and storage

Experience with RBAC user administration roles privileges and security

Good knowledge of SQL and query performance tuning

Experience with monitoring troubleshooting and costperformance optimization

Knowledge of Snowpipe stages streams tasks cloning Time Travel and data sharing

Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or GCP

Experience with scriptingautomation and CICD is preferred

Strong troubleshooting stakeholder management and technical leadership skills

Snowflake certification would be an advantage

Knowledge of enterprise data warehousing and ETLELT concepts

Exposure to tools such as DBT ADF Informatica or similar data integration platforms

Understanding of data security and governance practices
