As we continue to expand our IPR business, we are looking for a dynamic business leader to drive strategic growth and strengthen our market presence.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Business Development to lead business expansion for our IPR business. The incumbent will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, driving procurement and sourcing initiatives, acquiring new customers, and leading commercial negotiations while ensuring sustainable business growth.

This role demands a highly entrepreneurial individual with excellent commercial acumen who enjoys building businesses from the ground up and is comfortable with extensive travel and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive business development initiatives for E-waste & Non Ferrous Metals recycling across OEMs, EV manufacturers, battery cell manufacturers, battery pack manufacturers, energy storage companies, and allied industries.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to procure end-of-life batteries, production scrap, black mass, and other recyclable battery materials.

Identify and acquire new business opportunities while expanding Attero's customer network across India.

Build, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and channel stakeholders.

Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, contract finalization, and long-term sourcing agreements.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development and procurement targets.

Monitor market dynamics, commodity pricing, competitor activities, and industry developments to formulate effective business strategies.

Collaborate closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams for seamless execution of business commitments.

Lead, mentor, and develop the IPR Business Development team while fostering a high-performance culture.

Represent Attero at industry forums, customer meetings, exhibitions, and strategic business discussions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management, or related discipline.

MBA (Marketing/Operations) preferred.

Required Experience & Skills

- 15+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Sales, Procurement, or Key Account Management.

Prior experience in Battery Recycling, Automobile, EV, Battery Manufacturing, Circular Economy, Metals, Recycling, or allied industries will be preferred.

Proven track record of handling large enterprise customers and complex commercial negotiations.
