Reporting Analyst - Finance
Roles and Responsibilities:
Understand the business requirements, assess Business Impact, identify dependencies with other objects and connected applications.
Translate business requirements to Functional Specification covering the various stages of the Document Flow within a business process.
Describe technology in terms easily understood by business customers and set realistic customer expectations for the project outcome. Adjust customer expectations in accordance with changes in scope.
Create Functional Unit Test scripts and validate that solution by testing and ensure it meet business needs. Active involvement in Application testing, Role-based testing and Load testing.
Support the testing team and business users in various testing stages across Integration Testing, Single Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
Ensure traceability of requirements from Data needs and requirements, through testing and scope changes, to training and transition.
Validate and segregate the incidents raised into config issue, data issue, design issue and build issue. Provide the necessary functional support to development team for issue replication in lower environments.
Mandatory skills:
10+ years of IT experience with minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Expert in SAP Finance Functional skills.
Expert in creating Report mockups/wireframes
Expert in creating Mapping files (from source to UI covering all intermediate stages and systems), data flow and Entity-Relationships between different tables/data models
Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, relational database and data model design
Strong knowledge of the capabilities of different Visualization tools (Fiori Analytical floorplans, Multidimensional Report, SAC, WebI, Analysis for Office, etc)
Basic knowledge of Data Management Framework & practices such as Data Analytics, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Governance.
Optional skills:
Knowledge of the Business Intelligence technologies and their relevant functions (reporting, analytics, planning, data integration, etc)
Experience in Agile scrum methodology and usage of Azure DevOps
