About the job

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will work closely with clients and internal delivery teams to assess existing business processes, identify automation opportunities, and drive end-to-end solution delivery — from requirements gathering through to business case presentation.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed process assessments (as-is/to-be analysis) to understand current workflows, pain points, and inefficiencies.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, and build a pipeline of improvement initiatives.
Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) capturing functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with the development/technical team to design and build solutions addressing client business challenges.
Present business cases, solution recommendations, and ROI analysis to client stakeholders and internal leadership.
Conduct root cause analysis on process gaps and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Perform cost-benefit and feasibility analysis for proposed automation initiatives.
Define success metrics/KPIs for implemented solutions and track post-implementation performance.
Manage requirement traceability, ensuring solutions align with business objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process walkthroughs to gather requirements.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) planning and execution to validate solutions before go-live.
Create process documentation, SOPs, and training materials for new/automated processes.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure alignment throughout the solution lifecycle.
Stay updated on emerging automation tools/technologies (RPA, BPM, low-code platforms) relevant to process improvement.
Manage change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes/tools by end users.

Technical requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process mapping (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and documentation.
Proficiency in creating BRDs, FRDs, process flow diagrams, and SOPs.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills — comfortable presenting to client and senior leadership.
Working knowledge of automation tools/concepts (RPA, workflow automation, BPM platforms) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

Additional responsibilities

Prior experience in Finance & Accounting (F&A) operations, specifically in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), or General Ledger (GL) towers.
