Ab Initio Admin

We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Administrator with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in administering, monitoring, and supporting Ab Initio environments. The ideal candidate should have expertise in installation, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Ab Initio platforms across development, testing, and production environments.

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Ab Initio software components.

Monitor Ab Initio jobs and ensure smooth execution across environments.

Perform environment setup, migration, and release deployment activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Ab Initio applications and infrastructure.

Manage EME projects, users, groups, and security permissions.

Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for Ab Initio environments.

Work closely with ETL developers, application teams, and infrastructure teams.

Support incident, problem, and change management processes.

Create and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.

Technical requirements

3-5 years of Ab Initio Administration experience.

Strong knowledge of:

Ab Initio Co>Operating System

Enterprise Meta Environment (EME)

Conduct>IT

Control Center

Experience with Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting.

Understanding of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing.

Knowledge of job scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys.

Experience in application deployment and environment management.

Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Understanding of production support processes.

Educational requirements

MCA,MSc,MTech,BTech
