About the role

As a Product Analyst within the Commercial Excellence Product Management team, you will work as part of a broader team that owns the product strategy, roadmap and value delivery of Technology & Data Products that enable commercial business processes such as Distributor Management and Salesforce Automation.

In our Asia Pacific, Middle East Africa and Latin America Operating Units we distribute and sell our products to Retailers and Pharmacies through a network of Distributors.  You will work on products that enable us to on-board new distributors, manage the on-going relationship, bring transparency to distributor performance & sales; and equip their field force with Salesforce Automation Tools that enable them to visit retailers and conduct In-store execution activities such as order taking, merchandising and promotion activation.

You will contribute across the product lifecycle by supporting problem definition, shaping requirements, designing and validating solutions and tracking adoption and impact. This role is suited to someone with commercial curiosity and an interest in developing product management expertise in a CRM and sales related domain.

Role Responsibilities

Product Strategy

Develop an understanding of business goals, market opportunities and customer needs / pain points to inform product recommendations
Support the Product Manager in value proposition and business case development through collection and synthesis of data.

Backlog Management & Roadmap Development

Translate Initiatives and Epics into Features and User Stories
Maintain and refine the product backlog, ensuring requirements are clear, acceptance criteria are well documented and the agreed prioritisation framework is applied
Build awareness and understanding of the backlog amongst design and software development teams to enable downstream planning, design & development activities
Prepare communications on roadmap progress, priorities and upcoming releases.

Product Delivery & Execution

Coordinate delivery plans, status and cross-team dependencies
Participate in Agile Ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog refinement and Sprint Reviews
Refine user stories and works within the SCRUM team to break-down the stories into tasks and size the effort
Work collaboratively with design, technical services and data teams to design features - validating the design addresses the requirement
Execute tests to ensure the solution meets the business needs
Co-ordinate user acceptance testing activities with business stakeholders in the markets.

Experience & Design

Partner with Product Experience teams to define business problems and identify opportunity spaces
Work with Product Designers to produce mock-ups and prototypes to demonstrate and test user experiences with end users
Capture customer insights, feedback and data to inform product decision

Value Tracking & Performance Monitoring

Analyse usage, adoption and performance data and support reviews and retrospectives

Operations, Risk & Compliance

Support product risk & compliance activities including documentation to support management controls and audit readiness
Work with risk and compliance, technical services and engineering teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the problem space and capture business requirements
Partners with Data and Technical Services teams to design and build features.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

Learning agility to be able to quickly understand and analyse complex business processes – with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation
Experience in requirements definition
Experience of having worked on the delivery of solutions in an Agile delivery model
Experience in functional design of solutions
Interest or foundational knowledge in Customer Relationship Management, Distributor Management and Salesforce Automation solutions
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, global environment
Clear communication skills and confidence explaining insights and solutions to varied audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data
Knowledge of core product disciplines such as design thinking
Experience of having worked in the Life Sciences or Consumer Goods Industry
