Position Title: Senior Manager / AGM - Marketing

Location: Pune

Job Overview:

The AGM of Marketing will be responsible for leading and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. This position will oversee marketing campaigns, digital marketing efforts, and market research. The DGM/AGM will also be instrumental in guiding the marketing team, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development & Execution:

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.

Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence and drive sales.

Team Leadership:

- Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, ensuring high performance and professional development.

Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging innovation and creativity within the team.

Digital & E-Commerce Marketing:

- Oversee the company’s digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media.

Lead e-commerce marketing efforts, driving customer acquisition, retention, and overall sales growth.

Market Analysis & Consumer Insights:

- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer behavior, and opportunities for growth.

Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly to stay ahead in the market.

Brand Management:

- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.

Lead the development of brand guidelines and ensure alignment across all business units.

Budget Management:

- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve marketing goals.

Analyze the return on investment (ROI) for marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with other departments (sales, product development, customer service, etc.) to ensure cohesive execution of marketing strategies.

Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners for campaign execution and media buying.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (master’s preferred).

7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce, and brand management.

Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate cross-functionally.

Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data to inform strategy.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience in managing budgets and measuring ROI of marketing campaigns.

Desired Skills:

Expertise in B2C or B2B marketing (depending on the company focus).

Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.

Leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
