Project Overview: CTD Postproduction support - Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (GL & IC) Finance Functional Consultant Role Scope / Deliverables: • 10+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, with strong expertise in GL and Intercompany. • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support for Oracle Fusion Financials. • Configure and support Oracle Fusion General Ledger including ledgers, legal entities, business units, chart of accounts, calendars, currencies, and accounting structures. • Manage GL configurations for journals, allocations, revaluations, translations, consolidations, and period-close processes. • Configure and support Oracle Fusion Intercompany transactions, balancing rules, receivables/payables flows, and intercompany accounting. • Design and support end-to-end intercompany processes across legal entities, business units, ledgers, and accounting structures. • Provide functional leadership across GL, Intercompany, SLA, AP, AR, and other related Oracle Financials modules. • Apply strong Subledger Accounting (SLA) knowledge to ensure accurate accounting, posting, and reconciliation to General Ledger. • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including journal processing, reconciliation, and financial consolidation. • Lead financial structure design including chart of accounts, segment values, cross-validation rules, hierarchies, and accounting calendars. • Configure approval workflows and business processes using Oracle BPM where required. • Partner with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions. • Lead workshops, fit-gap assessments, solution design sessions, configuration walkthroughs, and functional validation. • Prepare functional designs, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, training materials, and implementation documentation. • Support financial data conversions and migrations using FBDI and ADFdi, including validation and reconciliation. • Collaborate on integrations using OIC, REST/SOAP services, FBDI, and other Oracle integration mechanisms. • Define functional requirements and interface mappings for journals, intercompany transactions, balances, and financial data. • Lead or support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues across GL, Intercompany, SLA, and related Financials modules. • Develop and validate financial reporting requirements using OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting, and Fusion Analytics. • Use SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and reporting support. • Recommend Oracle Fusion best practices and process improvements while minimizing unnecessary customization. • Collaborate with functional, technical, business, project management, and Oracle support teams. • Act as SME for Oracle Fusion General Ledger and Intercompany, providing functional leadership and solution governance.
