Lead I - Software Engineering

Associate Software Engineer (A1) Experience: 0-3 Years Job Summary We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to support the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications. The role requires a strong foundation in programming, problem-solving, and software engineering principles. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business and technical requirements. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established coding standards. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities. Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to improve code quality. Collaborate with team members during design, development, testing, and deployment phases. Support application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements. Create and maintain technical documentation related to assigned tasks. Follow software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Agile practices. Ensure adherence to security, quality, and performance standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 0-3 years of experience in software development. Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar. Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Basic knowledge of database technologies and SQL. Familiarity with REST APIs and web application development concepts. Knowledge of Git or other version control systems. Understanding of software testing and debugging techniques. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices. Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants, etc.). Understanding of Generative AI concepts or AI service consumption through APIs is an added advantage.
