Job Code 15306 Locations Bengaluru Minimum Experience 6 Maximum Experience 12 Mandatory Skills C,Kernel,Linux,File System,Device Drivers Skill to Evaluate Device Drivers,Kernel Developer,file system,Linux Developer Experience 6 to 12 Years Location Bengaluru Job Description · Development of Linux Kernel/File System features and device drivers validation plan and cases. · Lead the architecture or enhancement discussions for various System SW components & peripherals interfaces validation. · Debug and identify the root cause for any critical system issues such as crash, system lock, abnormal reset etc. Education Qualificaiton B Tech or equivalent Job Title Linux Kernel & Driver Validation Engineer Roles & Responsibilities · Strong C programming skills, OS, and Compiler concepts · Strong expertise in X86/ARM/ARM64 architecture · Good experience in Linux kernel area and debugging Linux kernel oops, back traces, hangs, kernel context etc. · Good experience on BSP porting / schematics understanding / Board bring up with hardware debugging. · Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals (process scheduler, cache, interrupt handling, memory management, concurrency/synchronization, memory allocation, file systems), profiling and Hypervisor. · Extensive device driver development and support (one or more of USB, graphics, Network, Alsa, video, storage, PCI/PCIe, power management, etc.,) · Experience with validation of system from user space, and knowledge of user space API · Experience of using GIT (github/gitlab) - Good communication and soft skills Project Details Validation kernel drivers, SoCs , peripherals etc
