About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Java Lead Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Java enterprise application development, technical leadership, solution architecture, and modern software engineering practices. In this role, you will lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications while mentoring engineering teams, driving technical excellence, and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade Java applications.

Define technical architecture, coding standards, design principles, and engineering best practices.

Design and implement scalable microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

Develop secure and high-performance RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.

Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and design discussions.

Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to development teams.

Mentor junior and senior engineers in coding standards, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.

Drive application performance optimization, scalability improvements, and reliability initiatives.

Support CI/CD implementation, release planning, and automated deployment processes.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement sustainable solutions.

Ensure adherence to security standards, compliance requirements, and enterprise architecture guidelines.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.

Contribute to technology roadmap discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Expertise You'll Bring:

10–12 years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java development expertise.

Deep understanding of Core Java, Java 8+ Features, OOP Concepts, Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, Data Structures & Algorithms.

Extensive experience building enterprise-scale applications.

Strong understanding of clean coding practices and secure development methodologies.

Strong expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud.

Experience developing cloud-native and distributed applications.

Knowledge of service discovery, configuration management, and API gateway concepts.

Proven experience designing and developing Microservices architectures.

Strong expertise in RESTful API development and integration.

Experience implementing API security, authentication, and authorization.

Understanding of distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns.

Experience with asynchronous and event-driven architectures.

Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL.

Understanding of database design, normalization, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis is an advantage.

Experience handling high-volume transactional applications.

Experience working with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Event-Driven Architectures.

Knowledge of message queues, event streaming, and distributed communication patterns.

Experience implementing scalable messaging solutions.

Working knowledge of cloud platforms AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Containerized Deployments.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native development practices.

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Strong experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito.

Experience with automated testing and code quality practices.

Understanding of DevSecOps and software quality engineering principles.

Proven experience leading technical teams and enterprise projects.

Strong ability to conduct technical reviews and solution assessments.

Experience estimating effort, planning releases, and managing technical risks.

Ability to mentor developers and drive engineering best practices.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
