ITAM/Hardware Asset Management

Maintain and manage the inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, and peripheral equipment.

Track hardware assets throughout their lifecycle: procurement, deployment, maintenance, transfer, and disposal.

Ensure accurate asset records in ITAM tools such as ServiceNow HAM, Flexera, Ivanti, BMC Helix, or Lansweeper.

Monitor asset compliance and ensure adherence to organizational policies and audit requirements.

Coordinate with procurement and vendors for hardware purchases, renewals, warranty management, and replacements.

Conduct periodic asset audits and physical verification of hardware inventory.

Manage asset allocation, movements, returns, and recovery during employee onboarding and offboarding.

Track warranty, lease, and support contracts to ensure timely renewals.

Generate asset utilization, depreciation, and inventory reports for management.

Ensure secure and compliant disposal of end-of-life hardware assets.

Work closely with IT support, procurement, finance, and security teams to maintain accurate asset data.

Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical assets and asset management records.

Support software-hardware reconciliation and configuration management activities.

Maintain CMDB (Configuration Management Database) accuracy and data integrity.

Assist in implementing asset management processes, standards, and continuous improvements
