Lead Platform Engineer - Control Automation

Lead the design and implementation of platform automation solutions across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments.

Develop and maintain automation frameworks for provisioning, configuration management, patching, deployment, and operational tasks.

Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Puppet.

Design automated controls to ensure platform security, compliance, governance, and operational consistency.

Develop self-healing and event-driven automation for incident remediation and operational efficiency.

Automate routine platform administration and system maintenance activities.

Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.

Manage workflow and orchestration platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform, Rundeck, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated response mechanisms.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and process optimization.

Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, DevOps, and SRE teams.

Establish automation standards, coding guidelines, and governance models.

Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive automation solutions.

Lead platform modernization and operational transformation projects.

Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on automation best practices.

Educational requirements

Bachelor of Engineering
