Platform Engineer - Orbit Core

Design, build, and manage scalable platform infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Java, or Go.

Manage containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management solutions.

Support application deployment, release management, and environment provisioning.

Monitor platform health, system performance, and application reliability.

Implement observability using monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.

Collaborate with Development, SRE, Security, and Operations teams.

Implement DevSecOps practices, security controls, and compliance requirements.

Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Manage source code repositories and branching strategies.

Drive platform modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Educational requirements

Bachelor of Engineering

Technology->Platform Engineering and Containers->Kubernetes
