About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated ASP.NET Developer to join our ESOP & Insider Law division. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using the .NET / ASP.NET framework , along with a good understanding of databases, APIs, and software development practices.
The role will involve working on client-facing projects, understanding business requirements, developing scalable solutions, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET / .NET .
Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API , and related technologies.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Work with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations.
Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance-related problems.
Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and scalable code.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
Perform unit testing and support application testing and deployment.
Work on application enhancements, maintenance, and new feature development.
Understand client requirements and contribute to timely delivery of projects.
Maintain technical documentation wherever required.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in the .NET ecosystem.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in ASP.NET / .NET development.
Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core .
Good knowledge of MVC architecture and Web API .
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and basic frontend development concepts.
Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and relational database concepts.
Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and API integration .
Experience with Git or other version-control systems .
Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Good to Have
Experience with .NET 6/7/8 or later versions .
Knowledge of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core .
Familiarity with Angular, React, or other modern frontend frameworks .
Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms .
Understanding of CI/CD and deployment processes.
Experience working on client-facing software projects .
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
