Developer I - Software Engineering

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Developer I – Software Engineering to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with strong programming fundamentals and a passion for learning modern technologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices. Participate in requirements analysis, design discussions, and code reviews. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers. Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services. Create and maintain technical documentation. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensure application performance, security, and reliability. Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and development methodologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in software development. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or related technologies. Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Experience with source code management tools such as Git. Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Exposure to unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
