Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer / Data Analyst with up to 2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to Databricks , SQL, data transformation, and visualization tools. The role involves working with business stakeholders to build scalable data pipelines, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Engineering

Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks.

Extract, transform, and load data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.

Support data integration, cleansing, and quality assurance activities.

Assist in building and maintaining data models and data warehouses.

Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot performance or data quality issues.

Data Analytics & Reporting

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.

Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

Develop SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.

Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Support ad-hoc analysis and executive reporting needs.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Finance, and Business stakeholders.

Document data processes, business rules, and technical specifications.

Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.

0–2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence.

Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark fundamentals.

Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.

Knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.

Experience with Python or PySpark for data processing.

Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data lifecycle management.

Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
