•As an Ab Initio ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering enterprise data engineering solutions. You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality data products.
•Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDE).
•Analyse and implement source-to-target mapping requirements for data integration projects.
•Build and support data processing solutions across on-premises and cloud-based environments.
•Develop reusable and scalable ETL frameworks and components.
•Write, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries and database objects.
•Develop UNIX shell scripts to automate routine operational and data processing tasks.
•Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI for automated deployments.
•Utilise version control systems including Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket for source code management.
•Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and engineering teams to define requirements and evaluate solution feasibility.
•Participate actively in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
•Perform unit testing, integration testing, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
•Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.

•Hands-on expertise in Ab Initio GDE, including graph design, development, testing, and deployment.
•Strong understanding of source-to-target mapping and ETL design principles.
•Experience working with both on-premises and cloud-based data platforms.
•Advanced SQL skills with expertise in performance tuning and query optimisation.
•Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
•Hands-on experience with UNIX shell scripting.
•Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
•Proficiency with version control systems including Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
•Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and JIRA.
•Ability to design, develop, test, and deliver end-to-end data engineering solutions.
•Strong focus on quality, performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
•Experience conducting code reviews and implementing engineering best practices.
•Ability to define and implement Definition of Done, including unit testing, integration testing, and non-functional quality standards.
