Role
To drive the end-to-end strategy, deployment, and operational excellence of the Product Lifecycle
Management (PLM) enterprise ecosystem. The role holder serves as the strategic bridge between
corporate business stakeholders and technical execution teams, managing development and support
streams while pioneering digital transformation through integrated Teamcenter, Mendix low-code
applications, and Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML) frameworks.
A purpose driven role for you
Delivery & Operations Management
Team Governance: Direct, mentor, and manage both the PLM
Development team and the Production Support team across Agile
delivery cycles
Release & Execution Management: Oversee the release pipeline to
guarantee that new functionalities, configurations, and
customizations are deployed on time, within scope, and with
minimal risk.
Operational Continuity: Ensure existing PLM processes, workflows,
and server environments operate smoothly. Oversee SLA
compliance, system health, and escalation pathways for production
support issues
Business Alignment, Architecture & UAT Ownership
Requirement Engineering: Act as the primary technical point of
contact for corporate business teams to interactively capture,
analyze, and translate complex engineering requirements into clear,
scalable technical specifications.
End-to-End Solution Architecture: Design robust, scalable PLM
solutions that seamlessly integrate Teamcenter with Mendix
applications and AI middleware, ensuring alignment with enterprise
IT standards.
UAT Ownership: Partner with business representatives to define
rigorous testing criteria. Lead and conduct User Acceptance Testing
(UAT) sessions to secure business sign-off prior to production
deployment.
Advanced Ecosystem Customization & Innovation
Customization Standards: Ensure best-in-class implementation of
server-side (ITK C++) and client-side (SOA, Java, TypeScript)
customizations.
Low-Code & Analytics: Drive the adoption of modern web apps via
Mendix and advanced data analytics via TCRA to unlock deep
business insights from PLM data.
AI Implementation: Lead AI innovation initiatives, mapping out use
cases where predictive models or Generative AI can optimize day-
to-day engineering mechanics.
A Day in the life
A day in life will be around driving the end-to-end strategy, deployment, and operational excellence of the Product Lifecycle
Management (PLM) enterprise ecosystem. The role holder serves as the strategic bridge between
corporate business stakeholders and technical execution teams, managing development and support
streams while pioneering digital transformation through integrated Teamcenter, Mendix low-code
applications, and Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML) frameworks.
