The Digital & Tech Solution Manager: Product Costing & Inventory Finance plays a critical role in ensuring Haleon's Technology Platforms enable enterprise finance and manufacturing processes to be designed, governed, and operated in a consistent, scalable, and future-fit way.

The Solution Manager is the enterprise-wide technology enabler for Product Costing and Inventory Finance processes and is responsible for functional design, delivery, service operation, and continuous improvement across all markets and functions under the direction of the End-to-End Record to Decision Solution Owner.

This role sits at the centre of Haleon's transformation journey, ensuring Product Costing and Inventory Accounting processes evolve from legacy and fragmented ways of working into integrated, standardised, and digitally enabled capabilities that unlock value, improve financial transparency, strengthen controls, and support business growth.

The Solution Manager acts as an informed decision-maker for the enterprise, enabling Business Process Owners, Process Experts, Finance Leadership, and Supply Chain stakeholders to break down functional silos and ensure technology decisions are made for the benefit of the whole organisation.

Solution Managers safeguard Haleon's Technology Principles through adoption of market-standard capabilities, reduction of custom solutions, acceleration of speed to value, and delivery of globally aligned finance operations that support sustainable growth and transformation.

Solution Delivery

Own the global Product Costing and Inventory Finance solution, technical standards, delivery governance, operational governance, and technical documentation.
Deliver ERP programmes and transformation initiatives aligned with global standards and business priorities through internal and external delivery partners.
Ensure standardisation and harmonisation of Product Costing and Inventory Accounting processes across all markets.
Lead delivery of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA enhancements supporting manufacturing finance and inventory accounting objectives.
Govern solution quality throughout design, build, testing, deployment, hypercare, and sustainment phases.

Solution Design

Enable business process design and continuous improvement activities across all phases of Enterprise Transformation (Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Sustain).
Act as a key contributor to the Design Authority for Product Costing and Inventory Finance processes and solutions.
Develop and maintain the functional roadmap for Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, Material Ledger, and related manufacturing finance capabilities.
Partner with Business Process Owners, Process Experts, Data Teams, and other Solution Managers to ensure integrated end-to-end process designs.
Drive adoption of SAP standard functionality and best practices while minimising technical debt and custom developments.
Ensure finance process designs meet control, compliance, statutory, tax, and audit requirements.

Operate Existing ERP Solutions

Deliver ongoing BAU support and enhancement activities across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
Provide deep functional expertise to resolve critical Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, and Manufacturing Finance incidents.
Accountable for lifecycle management activities including legal changes, financial controls, compliance requirements, upgrades, and technical debt reduction.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities related to manufacturing and inventory valuation processes.
Partner with operational support teams to ensure solution stability and service excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Business Process Owners, Process Experts, Manufacturing Finance teams, Supply Chain stakeholders, and Functional Leaders to embed and sustain process improvements.
Ensure effective integration across interconnected business processes including: - Source to Pay (S2P)
Plan to Produce (P2P)
Logistics and Distribution
Record to Report (R2R)
Commercial Finance
Supply Chain
Collaborate closely with Data, Architecture, Cyber Security, Compliance, Testing, Controls, and Change Management teams.
Support enterprise-wide adoption of standardised business processes and data governance principles.

Operations, Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Ensure availability and reliability of Product Costing and Inventory Finance capabilities through close partnership with support teams.
Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, standardisation, and digitisation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
Evaluate emerging SAP innovations and industry best practices to support Haleon's long-term Digital & Technology strategy.
Improve financial visibility, inventory accuracy, costing transparency, and manufacturing reporting capabilities.

Profile & Experience

Essential Experience

Extensive experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions with deep expertise in Product Costing and Inventory Accounting.
Proven experience leading global ERP transformation, optimisation, and support initiatives.
