Software Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and services. The role works independently on moderately complex tasks, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and contributes to technical design, implementation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
Participate in requirements analysis and technical design discussions.
Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and secure code.
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
Create and execute unit, integration, and automation tests.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and other engineering teams.
Support production systems and investigate operational issues.
Follow Agile development practices and engineering standards.
Stay current with emerging technologies and development frameworks.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Typically, 3-4+ years of software development experience.
Strong programming skills in one or more technologies including C#, .NET Core, Python, React.js, and TypeScript .
Experience designing and developing scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Experience with source control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, and modern software development practices.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
