This Technical Program Manager will own and manage the end-to-end program management of NetApp’s key growth initiatives in the Cloud BU identified by the CEO and executive leadership team.  This position will report directly to the Senior Manager, TPMO, Cloud Storage & Services.  Key responsibilities include working cross-functional with all stakeholders to identify and gain alignment around a set of deliverables and program milestones that lead to strategic solutions for Software as a Service in the Cloud Storage & Services BU and NetApp as a company. Stakeholders could be internal to NetApp or external customers, vendors, and partners.

The incumbent will lead the cross-functional team from concept, design, implementation to launch the product/service in the market while working within the guidelines and cadence defined by the program team. The TPM will serve as the technical delivery owner driving cross-program dependencies to resolution, executive communication, risk management and end-to-end delivery.

Job Requirements

8+ years of experience leading large, complex cross-functional engineering programs and product implementations.

Strong understanding of program, project, and resource dependencies across portfolios.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive results in highly matrixed organizations.

Demonstrated success managing risks, resolving issues, and escalating appropriately.

Experience delivering large-scale platform, infrastructure, cloud, storage, distributed systems, or SaaS programs.

Ability to review and challenge architecture designs, technical specifications, release plans, and dependency maps.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, release planning, milestone management, GA readiness, and change control.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, JIRA, and Confluence.

PMP certification, Agile experience, and storage industry knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end program management for strategic initiatives, ensuring successful delivery, business outcomes, and executive visibility.

Drive alignment and execution across global engineering, product, and business teams, fostering collaboration in a matrixed environment.

Own program planning, including milestones, dependencies, resource management, critical path tracking, and release integration.

Partner with engineering and product leaders to prioritize work, resolve cross-functional dependencies, and manage capacity trade-offs.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; drive issue resolution, release readiness, governance reviews, and informed decision-making.

Represent programs in leadership forums, provide executive updates, and enhance program efficiency through process improvements and automation.

Education

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

8+ years of experience of successful releases for multiple products or services in technology focused programs.
