About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, modernize, and optimize enterprise data platforms and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Azure, SQL, Database Technologies, Python, PostgreSQL, and modern application development. You will be responsible for leading technical delivery, building scalable solutions, driving engineering excellence, and collaborating with stakeholders to create data-driven business applications.

What You'll Do:

Lead the technical delivery of the engineering pod and provide technical direction across development activities.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using React.js, Python, and PostgreSQL.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Drive application architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities.

Conduct code reviews and design reviews while ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.

Identify and mitigate technical risks while resolving complex technical challenges.

Ensure solution quality, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Mentor team members and support their technical growth and development.

Participate in sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.

Promote engineering standards, automation, and continuous improvement practices.

Support cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives leveraging Azure technologies.

Expertise You'll Bring:

6–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Development, Application Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.

Strong expertise in SQL and relational database concepts.

Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database development, administration, and optimization.

Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud-native architectures.

Proficiency in Python development for application and service development.

Experience building modern web applications using React.js.

Strong knowledge of REST API design, development, and integration.

Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.

Knowledge of database performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling.

Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.

Experience working with version control systems such as Git.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and automated deployment practices.

Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.

Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical leadership initiatives.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
