Your Work Profile

The Senior Software Developer – C++ will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reusable software and embedded software components for energy domain products and solutions. This role requires strong expertise in modern C++ development, multithreaded applications, software architecture, and system-level programming.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in object-oriented design, software engineering principles, data structures, and debugging techniques while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable software solutions.

Key Skills Required

Education- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, M.Tech, MSc, or equivalent.

5–8 years of experience in software design and development.

Strong expertise in:

C++

Modern C++ (C++11 and above)

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Software Design Principles

Hands-on experience with:

Multithreading

Concurrency

Synchronization Mechanisms

System Programming Concepts

Strong understanding of:

Data Structures

Algorithms

STL Containers

Standard Template Library (STL)

Experience with software architecture and design patterns.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze software requirements and functional specifications aligned with business needs.

Design, develop, unit test, and maintain reusable software and embedded software components.

Develop high-performance, scalable, and maintainable applications using modern C++ technologies.

Participate in architecture discussions and software design activities.

Perform code reviews, design reviews, and technical documentation reviews.

Create and maintain:

Requirements Documentation

Technical Design Documents

Test Documentation

User and Developer Documentation

Conduct unit testing and support quality assurance initiatives.

Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of complex software issues.

Apply software engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality processes.

Support continuous integration and software configuration management processes.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, developers, and quality engineering teams.

Ensure timely delivery of software components and project milestones.
