About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. This role requires deep expertise in Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to build secure, scalable, and highly resilient cloud environments. The ideal candidate will drive cloud transformation initiatives, establish architecture standards, and provide technical leadership across cloud platform engineering, modernization, automation, and containerization programs.

What You'll Do:

Define enterprise cloud architecture strategies, target-state architectures, and implementation roadmaps for Azure platforms.

Design and implement Azure Landing Zones aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.

Build secure, scalable, and compliant cloud foundations incorporating networking, governance, security, monitoring, and identity services.

Architect and manage enterprise-grade container platforms using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Establish Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar automation frameworks.

Lead cloud migration, modernization, and application transformation initiatives.

Define cloud governance models, security guardrails, operational controls, and compliance standards.

Evaluate cloud technologies, conduct proof-of-concepts, and recommend platform improvements.

Design high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.

Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, DevOps, and business teams to align architecture with organizational objectives.

Lead architecture reviews, design governance forums, risk assessments, and technical decision-making sessions.

Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

Establish CI/CD, GitOps, and automated deployment practices across cloud platforms.

Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership for cloud adoption and implementation programs.

Develop architecture standards, reference designs, implementation patterns, and technical documentation.

Expertise You'll Bring:

12-15 years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Enterprise Architecture.

Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Landing Zones, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Azure cloud platforms.

Deep knowledge of Azure services including Virtual Networks, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, Azure Monitor, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID.

Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or Pulumi.

Strong experience managing Kubernetes-based platforms including AKS networking, security, observability, and workload deployment strategies.

Expertise in container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and service mesh technologies.

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of cloud security, Zero Trust principles, identity management, governance, and compliance frameworks.

Experience leading cloud migration, modernization, and hybrid cloud transformation programs.

Knowledge of cloud cost optimization, FinOps practices, resource governance, and operational excellence.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable cloud architecture solutions and implementation roadmaps.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.

Experience leading architecture governance, technical assurance, and enterprise cloud strategy initiatives.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), or Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD) are highly desirable.
