About the Role

We are seeking a Design Engineer to lead the design, development, release, and lifecycle support of COCOE components, including Film GP, Paint GP, Label GP, Shipping Covers, Plug GP, Cover GP, EAC-related components, and associated engineering documentation. The role supports NPI, CPI, and current product initiatives while driving quality, cost, manufacturability, and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and release COCOE component designs using Creo and Teamcenter.

Support NPI, CPI, NSI, and current product engineering activities.

Execute design reviews, engineering changes, and PMO milestones.

Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, quality, procurement, and validation teams.

Resolve field, factory, and supplier issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Drive continuous improvement, localization, cost reduction, and first time right releases.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Experience in product design and development.

Proficiency in Creo, Teamcenter, and GD&T.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Ansys, FMEA, and NPI execution.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier collaboration.

Experience supporting current product and engineering change activitiesNo Additional Job Description Provided
