Primary Responsibilities:

Delivery Leadership & Governance
Lead Scrum planning, execution, defect management, and release validation activities
Define and implement standards, processes, templates, and best practices
Establish quality gates and readiness checkpoints to ensure successful production releases
Drive risk assessment and mitigation strategies for critical business initiatives
Provide quality status reporting and executive-level communication
Stakeholder Partnership
Partner with Product, Engineering, Business Operations, and Program teams to ensure business requirements are testable and validated
Facilitate requirement reviews and acceptance criteria assessments
Serve as the primary point of contact for business acceptance and release readiness discussions
Align testing strategies with business priorities and organizational goals
Test Strategy & Execution
Develop comprehensive UAT strategies covering:
Functional testing
End-to-end validation
Regression testing
Integration testing
Business process validation
Ensure full test coverage and traceability from requirements to test results
Oversee defect triage and resolution activities
Quality Engineering & Automation
Drive adoption of test automation and AI-assisted testing practices
Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, quality, and delivery speed
Promote shift-left testing practices and quality engineering principles
Evaluate and implement tools and capabilities that enhance testing effectiveness
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UAT analysts and quality engineers
Conduct performance management, coaching, and career development activities
Manage resource planning, workload balancing, and capability development
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Establish and monitor KPIs including:
Defect leakage
UAT execution progress
Test coverage
Release readiness metrics
Automation adoption metrics
Drive root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives
Support operational excellence and modernization efforts
Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA, or UAT
3+ years of people leadership experience
Experience managing testing activities for large-scale enterprise applications
Experience with defect management and test management tools
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and release management processes
Proven solid stakeholder management and communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
