Monks is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to steer and scale the Delhi-based production team delivering rapid-turn editorial and marketing content. Sitting at the intersection of operational strategy and daily execution, this role oversees operations across multiple shifts, ensuring high-volume creative work is rigorously prioritized, staffed, reviewed, and delivered.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned operational leader who brings structure, data-informed rigor, and agility to a fast-moving, continuous delivery environment. You will manage regional capacity and team performance, establish scalable operational frameworks, partner directly with US-based Monks leadership, and serve as a key regional escalation point for senior client stakeholders.

An interest in AI, emerging technology, and modern creative production models is essential. All briefs, client communications, and creative deliverables will be in English.

In This Role, You Will

-

Lead and govern day-to-day operations for the Delhi creative production hub across multiple shifts and concurrent workstreams.

-

Serve as a key regional point of contact for US Monks leadership and client stakeholders, translating high-level business priorities into clear operational roadmaps.

-

Oversee and optimize the end-to-end creative lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, resource allocation, QA, and delivery.

-

Build and maintain regional capacity plans, balancing shifting demand against bandwidth, shift coverage, and project timelines.

-

Manage, mentor, and elevate producers, project managers, and shift leads responsible for individual delivery pods.

-

Establish and enforce standardized operating procedures (SOPs) across all shifts, including handoff protocols, documentation, version control, and asset packaging.

-

Exercise sound operational judgment to optimize workflow continuity—knowing precisely when work stays within a shift and when a global handoff enhances turnaround speed.

-

Partner with creative, editorial, and technical leadership to maintain craft quality and brand integrity without compromising delivery velocity.

-

Drive client alignment on scope, deadlines, and bandwidth, resolving operational ambiguities independently and escalating to senior leadership only when strategic intervention is necessary.

-

Track and evaluate operational health metrics (turnaround times, capacity utilization, SLA adherence, and error rates) to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous workflow improvements.

-

Collaborate with AI and creative technology specialists to pilot and integrate automation tools into production pipelines.

-

Direct structured team onboarding, cross-training, and the retention of client- and program-specific knowledge.

-

Maintain discretion when handling confidential, unreleased, and sensitive client information.

Experience You Bring

-

7–10+ years of progressive experience in creative operations, production management, or program management within an agency, media company, or in-house creative organization.

-

Demonstrated experience managing multi-shift creative production hubs and mentoring mid-level producers or project managers.

-

Strong client-facing communication skills with proven ability to advise senior stakeholders and negotiate competing priorities.

-

Demonstrated background managing rapid-turn creative formats (digital marketing, web content, editorial, design, and motion graphics).

-

Proven track record of designing, scaling, and maintaining operational processes and QA standards across distributed teams.

-

Expertise in capacity planning, resource forecasting, and workflow management platforms (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or Airtable).

-

Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and comfort operating autonomously within ambiguous, high-tempo environments.

-

Experience collaborating across time zones, regional offices, and cross-functional teams.

-

Fluency in written and spoken English, paired with polished executive documentation and presentation skills.

-

Active interest or experience in integrating AI tools, automation, and workflow innovation into creative production.

-

Flexibility to operate within a 24/7 global shift structure and participate in scheduled weekend and holiday leadership rotations.

Working Model

This is a hybrid leadership role supporting a global, multi-shift operating model. The Operations Manager will provide leadership coverage across early morning, evening, overnight, and nontraditional shifts. The role requires sufficient schedule flexibility to maintain operational continuity, support planned weekend and holiday coverage rotations, and address urgent escalations. Coverage schedules will be planned in advance wherever possible.
