AI Platform Build Senior Consultant

Role Overview:

In the role of AI Platform Build Executive Director within EY GDS's Managed Services “AI for AI” team, you will be at the helm of pioneering AI/ML and Agentic project deliveries, with a keen focus on leveraging AWS or Azure GenAI, NLP, and Transformer models to drive innovation and solve complex challenges. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing a portfolio of Agentic engagements, fostering strong relationships with global clients and EY stakeholders, and steering your team towards delivering excellence. You will play a critical role in nurturing a team of high-caliber professionals, cultivating a culture of high performance, and maintaining EY's reputation as a leader in AI/ML and Agentic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct the complete lifecycle management of advanced analytics, Agentic ML, AI, and GenAI initiatives, with a focus on NLP and Transformer models, ensuring flawless integration with cloud services.

Act as a mentor to junior team members, providing them with the training and insights needed to become proficient in AI/ML and cloud technologies.

Display outstanding project management skills, leading the charge in the successful delivery of complex AI/ML projects, adhering to tight deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.

Engage actively in problem-solving and hands-on technical delivery, committing to the highest levels of quality and pushing the envelope of innovation.

Analytical Problem Solving – Possess the ability to dissect problems from a holistic perspective, rather than being constrained by specific techniques.

Planning: Demonstrate the capacity to make significant contributions to both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning.

Industry Knowledge - Stay informed about the latest developments in Data Science and AI, and adeptly apply this knowledge to a variety of scenarios.

Integrated View - Skillfully consolidate diverse perspectives, data sources, and methodologies to address and resolve client issues effectively.

Relationship Management - Cultivate and maintain strong, healthy relationships and partnerships with clients, EY partners, senior leaders, and team members at all levels.

Knowledge of Analytical Tools - Have a solid understanding of the foundational features of Data Science tools such as Python, R, or SAS.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

Exceptional technical acumen in AWS cloud services, GenAI, NLP, and Transformer AI/ML models, coupled with a track record of successful implementations.

Outstanding project management prowess, characterized by a methodical and results-driven approach to overseeing intricate AI/ML initiatives from concept to completion.

Superior communication skills, with a talent for distilling complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible language for a diverse array of stakeholders.

Strategic insight and foresight, contributing to the overarching vision and strategic direction of the Data Sciences team, while staying attuned to the latest industry trends and technological advancements.

Oversee ethical AI practices, ensuring fairness, accountability, and transparency in AI systems.

Expert in AI governance, implementing and monitoring responsible AI frameworks.

Manage risk and compliance with regulatory and ethical standards for AI deployment.

Champion ethical decision-making in AI development and operational processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in cloud/Agentic technologies (AWS, Azure) are strongly preferred.

An MBA or equivalent experience in business management is highly valued.

Relevant experience in advanced analytical/AI/Agentic Platform Build roles of 3-5 years

Demonstrated expertise in deploying AI/ML solutions on AWS or any other Hyperscaler and a deep understanding of advanced data modeling techniques.
