About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to lead the design, modernization, and optimization of enterprise data platforms and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Azure, SQL, Database Engineering, Python, PostgreSQL, and modern application architectures. This role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, application development, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data-driven solutions. As a technical leader, you will drive engineering best practices, mentor teams, influence architecture decisions, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise applications and data initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Lead the technical delivery of the engineering pod and provide technical leadership across development and data engineering initiatives.

Design and develop scalable applications using React.js, Python, and PostgreSQL.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and enterprise services.

Architect scalable cloud-based solutions leveraging Azure technologies.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

Drive application design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.

Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Ensure solution quality, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Mentor engineers and provide technical coaching to development teams.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and other Agile ceremonies.

Establish engineering standards, development best practices, and governance processes.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and platform modernization efforts.

Drive innovation and adoption of modern development and cloud technologies.

Expertise You'll Bring:

10–16 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Application Development, or Cloud Engineering.

Strong expertise in SQL and relational database technologies.

Extensive experience with PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud-native architectures.

Strong Python programming skills with experience developing enterprise-scale applications and APIs.

Experience developing modern web applications using React.js.

Expertise in REST API design, microservices architecture, and system integration.

Strong understanding of application architecture, distributed systems, and scalable solution design.

Experience designing enterprise-grade data platforms and database solutions.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Experience conducting code reviews and enforcing engineering best practices.

Knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and secure coding practices.

Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality solutions.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
