Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for patients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits efficiently, coordinating with providers’ schedules.
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Educate patients about procedures, treatment plans, medications, and clinic policies.
Facilitate communication between patients, medical staff, and external providers.
Address patient concerns, questions, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Assist with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and billing inquiries.
Track patient progress and ensure follow-up care is provided as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient experience and clinic workflow.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinic protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in patient coordination, medical office administration, or a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare processes, and insurance procedures.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Empathy, patience, and a commitment to patient-cantered care.
Working Conditions:
Full-time, on-site (or hybrid if applicable)
May require occasional evening or weekend shifts depending on clinic hours
