Req ID:   396555

NTT DATA strives to hire exceptional, innovative and passionate individuals who want to grow with us. If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.

We are currently seeking a Enterprise Product - Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Product team focused on Product Data Master (PDM), Product Information Management (PIM), Product Catalog, and Product Configuration systems .

This role will design, develop, and operate scalable enterprise solutions that serve as the foundation for product data across ERP, PLM, CPQ, eCommerce, DAM, and other enterprise platforms. You will partner with product managers, architects, and global engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that enable business growth and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and operate scalable Product Data Master (PDM), PIM, Product Catalog, and Product Configuration platforms on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Build and support integrations between Product Data Master and enterprise platforms including ERP, PLM, CPQ, DAM, CMS, eCommerce, and distributor systems.
Develop microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven workflows that process and distribute product data across multiple platforms.
Own software delivery end-to-end, including infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, monitoring, and operational support.
Write automated tests as part of shipping, not as a follow-up.
Build observable systems using logging, metrics, tracing, and telemetry.
Build data-driven capabilities that improve product intelligence, catalog completeness, and operational efficiency.
Review peer code, mentor engineers, and contribute to engineering best practices.
Partner with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

What We're Looking For

8+ years of experience building and operating enterprise software products in production environments.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, and distributed system architecture.
Deep fluency in at least one modern backend language and the ability to learn another quickly. We build primarily in C#/.NET, so that is ideal. Strong Java, Go, or Kotlin engineers who are willing to work in C# are equally welcome.
Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture.
Hands-on production experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud-native operations .
Experience integrating enterprise applications using APIs and modern integration patterns.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and scalable data platforms.
Comfort owning infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational support responsibilities.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Genuine interest in the engineering domain. Curiosity about how products are designed, revised, and released matters more here than it does on most teams.
Clear writing. Design notes and runbooks are part of the job.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to Have

Experience with Product Data Management (PDM), Product Information Management (PIM), Product Catalog, Pricing, CPQ, DAM, or MDM platforms.
Experience building product master data platforms, including taxonomy, classification, attributes, and product relationships.
Experience integrating ERP, PLM, PIM, CPQ, DAM, CMS, and eCommerce platforms.
Experience with Elasticsearch, Databricks, Graph databases, and analytics platforms.
Experience applying AI/Generative AI to catalog intelligence, metadata enrichment, classification, or attribute generation.
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and globally distributed teams.
Experience with observability and reporting tools such as Grafana and Power BI.

On AI-Assisted Development

We expect our engineers to use AI tooling and get real leverage from it across implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation. The order matters: strong fundamentals first, AI as an accelerant second.
