Job Description – Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Mumbai – Dombivli, Ghatkopar, Chembur & Churchgate

CTC: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Experience: 1–3 Years

Gender: Male Candidates Only

Provide desktop and laptop support, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, monitors, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and commonly used applications.

Troubleshoot printer, scanner, and other peripheral-related issues.

Perform hardware replacement, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.

Provide basic LAN and network connectivity support, including IP configuration and troubleshooting.

Assist with software installation, system updates, antivirus, and security patches.

Maintain IT asset records, service tickets, and technical documentation.

Coordinate with the IT team to resolve technical issues within the required time.

Provide on-site technical support to end users and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware, including practical troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience in hardware diagnosis, component replacement, and system assembly.

Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and software installation.

Understanding of LAN connectivity, IP configuration, and basic networking.

Good problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Candidate Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience in Desktop Support / Hardware Support.

BE / Diploma in IT or any relevant IT graduate qualification.

Strong practical knowledge of computer hardware is essential.

Candidates must be comfortable working at any of the mentioned Mumbai locations.
