Your Work Profile

The Software Developer – C#/.NET will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software components for the Siveillance security product portfolio.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET technologies, and Microsoft SQL Server, along with sound knowledge of object-oriented programming, debugging, automated testing, and software engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven, quality-focused, and capable of translating customer requirements into tested and maintainable software solutions while working effectively with global Agile teams.

Key Skills Required

Education - B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc., or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

3–5 years of professional software development experience.

Strong hands-on experience in:

.NET Technologies

SQL

Microsoft SQL Server

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

Experience translating customer requirements into software solutions.

Hands-on experience with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.

Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience in software testing and quality-focused development.

Ability to create maintainable and well-documented software.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional Agile team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, enhance, and maintain C#/.NET software for the Siveillance security portfolio.

Analyze customer and product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design and develop software using object-oriented programming principles.

Perform thorough unit and functional testing before delivering software components.

Contribute to software architecture and technical design discussions.

Write clean, secure, reusable, and maintainable code.

Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and quality-assurance activities.

Develop and maintain automated tests for implemented features.

Troubleshoot software defects and perform root-cause analysis.

Perform local debugging and core-dump analysis using Visual Studio.

Contribute to continuous integration and DevOps pipelines.

Maintain appropriate technical and software documentation.

Ensure developed features meet product quality and maintainability standards.

Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features and technical deliverables.

Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.

Work effectively with international teams and stakeholders.

Participate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
