About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Architect with deep expertise in Azure Databricks, modern data platforms, and enterprise data architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and business-aligned data ecosystems that support advanced analytics, reporting, governance, and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires extensive experience across Azure Data Services, data lakehouse architectures, data governance frameworks, cloud modernization programs, and enterprise integration solutions. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to define enterprise data strategies and build future-ready cloud data platforms.

What You'll Do:

Define enterprise data domains, data models, architecture principles, and standards aligned with business objectives.

Design conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures to support enterprise analytics and operational workloads.

Develop enterprise data roadmaps and future-state architecture strategies.

Architect modern data platforms using Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.

Design scalable data lake, lakehouse, and enterprise data warehouse solutions.

Define ETL/ELT frameworks, data ingestion strategies, and integration architectures.

Build scalable data processing frameworks for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

Design resilient, secure, and high-performance cloud-native analytics platforms.

Implement distributed data processing architectures leveraging Databricks and Apache Spark.

Design real-time, batch, API-based, and event-driven integration architectures.

Develop source-to-target mapping frameworks and enterprise data transformation standards.

Drive cloud migration and data modernization initiatives across hybrid and cloud environments.

Optimize data processing, storage, and query performance across large-scale platforms.

Establish enterprise-wide data governance, metadata management, and stewardship frameworks.

Define data quality, lineage, ownership, compliance, and auditability standards.

Design dimensional models including Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, Data Marts, and Enterprise Data Warehouses.

Enable self-service analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise reporting capabilities.

Implement security, privacy, and regulatory compliance controls across data platforms.

Drive adoption of data governance and architecture best practices throughout the organization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and business-focused data solutions.

Expertise You'll Bring:

9–14 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Data Platform design.

Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks and Apache Spark.

Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and related Azure data services.

Proven experience designing modern Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Enterprise Data Warehouse architectures.

Strong knowledge of enterprise data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical models.

Expertise in ETL/ELT architecture, data integration patterns, and data transformation frameworks.

Experience designing real-time, event-driven, API-based, and batch data integration solutions.

Deep understanding of data governance, metadata management, lineage, data quality, and stewardship frameworks.

Strong expertise in dimensional modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Mart design.

Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and hybrid data architectures.

Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements.

Experience supporting BI, advanced analytics, and self-service reporting initiatives.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable enterprise data architectures.

Proven leadership experience mentoring engineers, architects, and technical teams.

Experience leading architecture reviews, governance processes, and strategic modernization programs.
