Strategy
•Support the CIB strategic agenda by shaping and delivering a prioritised portfolio of measurable process-efficiency, simplification and control-enhancement initiatives across Client Lifecycle processes.
•Translate strategic, regulatory, client and operational priorities into coherent end-to-end process designs, target operating models and implementation roadmaps covering people, process, technology, data and information.
•Promote globally consistent, scalable and client-focused solutions while accommodating justified regional or country requirements and maintaining appropriate governance, control and conduct standards.
•Provide thought leadership on automation, straight-through processing, managed services, central utilities and other sustainable efficiency levers.
•Represent GPOS in transformation programmes and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment to the end-to-end process model, GPO accountabilities and agreed design standards.
Business
•Build strong partnerships across GPO/s, Client Coverage, Operations, Product, Technology, Transformation, Risk and Control, Legal and CFCC to define problem statements, shape solution options, facilitate decisions and deliver sustainable outcomes.
•Create transparency on the efficiency pipeline, delivery status, decisions, dependencies, risks, capacity requirements and realised benefits to support senior-management prioritisation.
•Engage regional and country stakeholders to assess impacts, incorporate local requirements and drive consistent adoption of agreed global solutions.
•Prepare clear, decision-ready materials and communicate complex process, risk and change topics effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management and in committees.
Processes
•Identify clear cross-process problem statements using process mapping, data, stakeholder insight and root-cause analysis; assess duplication, bottlenecks, hand-off failures, control gaps and manual workarounds.
•Define current and target states across people, process, technology, data and information, including roles, decision points, controls, service standards, management information and implementation requirements.
•Review process maps, RACIs, Process Guidance, controls, service standards, communications and other user-facing artefacts required to embed approved designs.
•Manage assigned initiatives from problem definition, impact assessment through approval, planning, delivery, testing, operational readiness, go-live support, BAU handover and post-implementation review.
•Deliver stakeholder assessments, change-impact assessments, engagement and communication plans, training-needs assessments and learning materials to support adoption across impacted functions and locations.
•Facilitate workshops and working groups using appropriate methods such as Lean, A3 problem solving, Design Thinking, Dynamic Work Design, Scrum or Kanban.
•Define success measures, track delivery, adoption and realised benefits, and maintain a reusable process-efficiency toolkit, standards and lessons learned.
•Provide design inputs and practical guidance to GPOs, Process Leads and subject-matter experts to ensure solutions remain coherent across process boundaries and can be sustained in BAU.
