About the job

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Product Owner to join our Data Solutions & Services team. This role is located in PUNE.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Own the creation and maintenance of clear, accurate, and user-focused technical documentation for data management, governance, platform, and product capabilities, including user guides, operating procedures, process documentation, release notes, FAQs, and training materials.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Governance, and business stakeholders to understand complex capabilities and translate them into structured, easy-to-consume documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Drive the documentation lifecycle from requirements discovery and drafting through review, approval, publication, version control, and ongoing maintenance as products and processes evolve.
Define and maintain documentation standards, templates, terminology, and information architecture across products to improve consistency, usability, discoverability, and adoption.
Support product launches, adoption, and change-management activities through release communications, onboarding content, process walkthroughs, training material, and self-service knowledge assets.
Document end-to-end product workflows, roles, decision points, system interactions, APIs, data flows, metadata, lineage, data quality, controls, and regulatory requirements in partnership with subject matter experts.
Use user feedback, support trends, and adoption signals to continuously improve product documentation and identify opportunities for stronger self-service and user experience.
Apply AI-assisted authoring and knowledge-management techniques, with appropriate human review and governance, to improve documentation speed, consistency, and reuse.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Product Management, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, English, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Technical Writer, or similar role, with strong hands-on responsibility for documenting enterprise software, data platforms, governance processes, or other complex technology capabilities.
Strong ability to understand APIs, data flows, system interactions, metadata, lineage, data quality, controls, and workflow concepts well enough to translate them into accurate product and user documentation.
Excellent written communication, editing, and information-structuring skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical and business concepts without losing accuracy.
Experience working with Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, or Governance stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment, with the ability to gather requirements and drive documentation through review and sign-off.
Working knowledge of documentation and collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Miro, or similar platforms; familiarity with structured authoring, docs-as-code, or knowledge-management approaches is a plus.
Comfort working in an evolving product environment, managing multiple documentation streams, and proactively identifying gaps or inconsistencies in requirements, processes, and user guidance.
Experience with AI-enabled documentation, knowledge search, or content-generation tools is preferred, along with an understanding of validation, traceability, and controlled publishing in regulated environments.
Strong stakeholder-management and product ownership skills, with the ability to drive reviews, resolve ambiguity, prioritize documentation needs, and obtain timely sign-off from subject matter experts.
