Role

As TM line incharge Heat Treatment, you will be a part of Plant ops team.You role will be to manage the shift production of heat treated components through optimum utilization of resources in order to ensure efficient and time bound delivery to customers and achieve production targets in line with defined costs, quality.

Manage the shift production of heat treated components through optimum utilization of resources in order to ensure efficient and time bound delivery to customers and achieve production targets in line with defined costs, quality.

A Day in the life

1.To Adhere delivery of Loading of gears in Furnaces and supplying heat treated Parts to Engine Plant as per Shift Production Target.

2 To Monitor Heat Treatment Process in shift wise to restrict flow of defects to next customer.

3.To Monitor Elimination of Unsafe Condition to avoid incidents.

4.To reduce the consumption of consumables & reduction of rejection by optimal utilization of available resources & equipments.E

5.To Monitor TPM Activities to meet the effectiveness of people & system.

Academic Qualification & Experience

Metallurgy or mechanical diploma / degree in engineering field.

5-10 Years of experience in process plant of Heat treatment

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Complete knowledge about mechanism of Sealed Quench furnaces & Induction Hardening Equipment

Metallurgy Basics and Microstructure Understanding

Atmosphere Control and Gas Chemistry Management

Quenching System Operation and Control, Hardness Testing and Quality Control Verification

Adherence and Monitoring of production plan & defect free parts supply to next customer in shift wise.

Behavioural Skills

Safety tagging on equipment’s thru safety audit & its corrective action.

To adhere zero Incidents in respective shift.

Maintaining the zero fire incidents in furnaces thru crackle test of Quenching oil in shift wise.

Ensuring the Cleaning of dust collector & disposal of dust in respective shift.

Problem analysis & solving

Good Interpersonal skill & IR Management.

Should be Creative and result oriented.
