Role

As a team manager you will be a part of the Engine assembly and will report to the Section Head-Engine Assembly

The purpose of your role will be handling Shift production in-charge of Engine Assembly and Meet Daily Production Target of Engine Assembly with optimum utilization of resources.

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Controlling Engine Production in shift to achieve daily Production Targets
Achieving Customer Delight through best quality control practices in shop floor
Strengthening DWM activities on Shop Floor
Improving Operational Efficiency by accelerating TPM Activities
Proper manpower Handling

A Day in the life

Ensure Smooth Running of Production as per target
Ensure control of line stoppages
Ensure Reduction in Flow of Defects to Customer
Ensure All Safety Standard Operating Procedures are followed on line
Ensure Improvement of Profitability through Controlling Cost parameters
Improving TPM parameters 3s, JH scores and OLE scores of Assembly Lines
Ensure Emotional Connect Between Mentor and Mentee
Imparting Training and aiding OJT

Academic Qualification & Experience

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 Years of relevant work experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Practitioner Level of 5S , TPM & IMS Execution.
Problem Solving Approach
7 QC tools
Basic Awareness of JIT methodology
SAP PP Module

Behavioural Skills

People management skills
Problem Solving and Decision making skills
Effective Communication skill
Collaborative approach with supporting stake holders
