Job Description: Embedded Test Automation Engineer

Experience Range - 5 Years

Reference : SMART9857_HM

Strong experience in Python-based test automation.

Hands-on experience with Pytest and Robot Framework.

Experience in embedded systems testing and validation.

Understanding of MCU architecture, including ARM Cortex and nRF52.

Knowledge of GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, interrupts, timers, and watchdogs.

Experience in communication protocol testing and automation.

Hands-on experience with BDD using Cucumber or Behave.

Experience testing UART, SPI, I2C, and BLE protocols.

BLE testing, including scanning, advertising, connection stability, GATT validation, and data exchange.

Firmware flashing, debugging, upgrade validation, and OTA validation.

Experience with UART/RTT logs, packet-level debugging, and automated log analysis.

Experience in test harness development, regression testing, functional testing, and system-level validation.

Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD automation.

Good-to-Have Skills

MQTT protocol testing for IoT devices.

Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setup and validation.

Basic C/C++ firmware understanding.

RTOS fundamentals.

PySerial and JTAG/SWD debugging using Segger J-Link.

BLE automation using nRF Connect APIs and custom scripts.

GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Stress, soak, and power consumption testing.

Allure and HTML test reporting.

Simulation tools for embedded systems testing.
