Performance Engineer - Travel Domain

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Performance Engineer with a strong background in the travel domain and expertise in AI tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications, leveraging advanced performance engineering techniques and AI-driven solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities:

Conduct performance testing and analysis of applications in the travel domain to ensure optimal performance under various load conditions.

Utilize AI tools to enhance performance testing processes and outcomes.

Identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate performance engineering practices into the software development lifecycle.

Develop and maintain performance test scripts, scenarios, and metrics.

Monitor application performance in production and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Prepare detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in performance engineering and AI.

Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience in performance engineering, specifically within the travel domain.

Strong knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).

Experience with AI tools and techniques applied to performance engineering.

Solid understanding of application architecture and performance metrics.

Ability to analyze and interpret performance data to drive decision-making.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with cloud-based performance testing solutions.

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Experience in Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5-7 years of relevant experience in performance engineering.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
