Your work profile:
We are looking for an experienced SAP PM Consultant with expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Plant Maintenance processes.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to optimize maintenance operations, asset management, work order management, preventive maintenance, and integration with other SAP modules.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Plant Maintenance processes.
Configure and customize SAP PM functionalities including:
Technical Objects (Equipment, Functional Locations)
Maintenance Notifications
Maintenance Orders
Preventive Maintenance
Task Lists
Work Centers
Measuring Points and Counters
Support end-to-end SAP PM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and AMS engagements.
Design maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance plans.
Work on breakdown, corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance processes.
Configure maintenance planning and scheduling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration with:
SAP MM (Materials Management)
SAP QM (Quality Management)
SAP PS (Project Systems)
SAP EAM
SAP FICO
Perform gap analysis and provide process improvement recommendations.
Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows.
Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
Provide user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
Manage incidents, service request, and change request tickets in AMS environments.
Key skills required
Strong experience in SAP PM configuration and support.
Hands-on experience with:
Equipment & Functional Location Management
Maintenance Planning
Refurbishment Process
Calibration Process
Warranty Management
Permit Management
Linear Asset Management (preferred)
Knowledge of maintenance KPIs and reporting.
Understanding of asset lifecycle management.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM processes.
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
Ability to conduct workshops and suggest industry best practices.
Experience in manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, power, mining, or chemical industries.
Exposure to SAP Fiori Apps for EAM.
Knowledge of SAP Mobility solutions (SAP Asset Manager) is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
SAP PM / EAM Certification preferred.
