Specialist, Talent Acquisition

The Screening Services Specialist conducts structured, standardized phone screens for applicants shortlisted by the Application Review Team. The role confirms baseline fit, validates key logistics and documentation, captures a clear screening outcome, and partners closely with recruiters to ensure screens are consistent, timely, and well documented.

As a Specialist, Talent Acquisition on the Talent Acquisition Screening Services team, you will be responsible for…

Conduct structured phone screens for shortlisted applicants using standardized interview guides and evaluation criteria.

Assess candidates against documented role requirements; identify gaps, risks, and items requiring recruiter review.

Confirm candidate availability, work location, compensation expectations, work authorization, and other role-specific logistics, as applicable.

Calibrate with recruiters and coordinate with the Application Review Team to clarify role requirements, preferred skills, shortlisted applicant information, and disposition criteria.

Document screening outcomes, rationale, risk flags, and recommended next steps in the designated applicant tracking system (ATS).

Monitor screening throughput and follow up on pending actions to meet agreed service-level agreements (SLAs) for timeliness, quality, and documentation completeness.

The team

The Talent Acquisition Screening Services team supports United States recruiting teams by conducting consistent, structured candidate screening and providing clear screening documentation. The team works with recruiters, recruiting leads, and the Application Review Team to align screening criteria, clarify candidate information, and support timely handoffs. Through standardized processes and systems, the team helps deliver a transparent and respectful candidate experience.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 6 PM to 3 AM India Standard Time (IST)

Qualifications

Required:

2–5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment coordination, sourcing support, candidate screening, or interviewing roles.

Experience conducting structured candidate phone screens or interviews using predefined interview guides and evaluation criteria.

Experience documenting candidate-screening outcomes, rationale, and next steps in an applicant tracking system (ATS) or recruitment-tracking system.

Experience working with recruiters or recruiting leads to align screening criteria, candidate handoffs, or disposition decisions.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience supporting multiple stages of the talent acquisition or talent sourcing lifecycle, including candidate screening, recruiter handoffs, and candidate disposition.

Experience supporting recruiting or sourcing for United States-based roles.

Experience collaborating with United States-based stakeholders from India across time zones.
